Exploring Nichoir
'Nichoir' was originally two farm houses, dating back to the early 19th century, with adjoining barns and further outbuildings, including a large bread oven (still in working order) and a forge. The farm houses were joined together and carefully renovated, and more recently the adjoining barns have been renovated, to create what is now the Garden Studio, and a further dining and sitting room. There is a garden of some 2.5 hectares (6 acres), with lawns, a small lake, a swimming pool, a boules court and children's play areas, and large vegetable garden and a wide variety of trees, shrubs and flowers - encouraging plenty of wildlife.
