Staying at 'Nichoir'
We want your stay at 'Nichoir' to be as relaxing and interesting as possible. If you join us for a few nights then we hope you'll have the chance to take in the house and garden, swim in the pool, maybe have a game of boules, and find out about what the region has to offer; and join us for an evening meal.
If you are staying with us for a longer time, we can offer you a variety of information on things to do - we have a small library for this in the dining room, and there's an IT area providing a range of information, and we have a fibre-optic Internet link providing superfast broadband. We can provide suggestions and itineraries for days out, and you're welcome to join us and friends at some of the music and wine-tasting events during the main summer months. Arrival and Departures Usually arrivals are from 4.00pm and we will be here to greet you and show you the Garden Studio and the layout of the house and gardens. There will be tea and cold drinks in the garden or sitting room if you would like them, so you can relax and unwind - and if you are arriving a bit later, then join us for a glass of wine or an aperitif. If you are going to be earlier than 4.00pm or perhaps later in the evening, just let us know. We realise that people will want to depart at various times - it is helpful for us if you can leave on your last day by 11.00am. If you require a really early start, then just let us know and we can provide breakfast in time for that - to save you the trouble when you're busy packing and perhaps 'organising children'. Food and wine Booked breakfasts (please see Rates on the side Menu) are from 8.00 - 10.30am and served in the dining/sitting room and can be taken in the outside summer dining area if you wish. We provide a buffet-style breakfast, with a range of fresh juices, cereals, yoghurts, and fresh and preserved fruits. There is fresh bakery produce and local jams and honeys.
