I just thought I would post some pictures of the stunning blossom we have here at the moment - it seems particularly spectacular this year ... but the weather forecast is that we're due for heavy rain over the next few days - so, here are a few pictures before it gets blown away; first, the wisteria - this now reaches half-way around the house and barn and is over 30 metres long: - and the fruit trees are laden ... this is the apple tree behind the well-house - and the quince tree and the magnolia, whose blossoms are so short-lived anyway: Just look at the delicacy of the quince blossom: But, as evening draws in you can see the rain clouds building:
